Uvu Academic Calendar 2023 – Students, parents and teachers in the Wasatch County School District look forward to spring break the first week of April. The school board plans to change the 2020 spring break to coincide with the university’s spring break.
Wasatch School District spokeswoman Kirsta Albert explained why the school board is considering changes to the 2020 spring break schedule.

“Our first student achievement initiative focused on academics. We also have 300 high school students who are distance learning with Utah Valley University. What happens is that we end up with 300 spring break students who have to stay when they go on spring break or miss a course, which is the worst case scenario. Offering to align spring break with UVU would allow distance education students to enjoy spring break in the same way as other students in the district and their peers. A real plus is also the extra instructional time after spring break before the extra testing period begins. This is a natural break between the 3

“We’re very grateful for what we’ve received in the past based on surveys of student staff and district parents,” Albert said. “When considering the future schedule, all of these responses are taken into account. These answers are the core of the decisions made. These are the suggestions we accept for our final decision. “

First, students learn from faculty and faculty, in turn, learn from students. In addition, students help faculty develop their scholarship. Second, our community advises our faculty and provides guidance for scholarship. Likewise, our faculty develops scholarships that benefit our community and the local economy. Dx at UVU is similar to information technology organizations at other universities in that Dx covers network, server, storage, telephony, identity, cybersecurity and more. In addition, Dx offers enterprise architecture, product portfolio management, process improvement services, classroom technology, educational technology, mobile computing platforms, training studios and more.

Dx offers these products and services to full-time, part-time and certain students. In addition to their “day jobs,” some of these employees teach as adjunct professors in various academic departments on campus. In this role they support busy teaching as described above.
However, a campus service organization like Dx can participate more fully in engaged teaching as members of the larger community. In other words, Dx should serve as an advisor to our faculty and provide academic scholarship with real-world experience, information, and direction. In addition, Dx should benefit from the faculty scholarship that informs our work. Dx is committed to providing mentorships, internships, scholarships and jobs to our students and graduates. In turn, these students will bring new knowledge, energy and new perspectives to Dx. This student feedback on the student experience with the services provided is invaluable and will improve the services provided.
So what do you need to do to change the Dx? Well, there are some necessary tasks, attitudes and ideas:
