On behalf of our school’s amazing student body, I would like to warmly welcome you to the University of Houston School of Pharmacy! Our university aims to provide its students with a world-class learning environment that creates world-class pharmacists who can professionally lead the pharmacy profession and provide excellent patient care wherever they go. It is an honor to serve as the chair of the Pharmacy Council this school year, as I am a great advocate for the excellence that our school promotes. With your decision to continue your pharmacy education at UHCOP, I can confidently assure you that the next four years will be filled with constructive and enriching experiences that will constantly challenge you to be your best self.

Although I am originally from Oklahoma, I have never been shy about moving to a new state because I have been fortunate to interact with students and faculty who have demonstrated an unparalleled level of professionalism and expertise. Seeing this motivated me to join UHCOP so that I can develop these qualities in myself. I can say with confidence that in the last two years I have been here, I have been able to work towards this goal and improve myself in this process. This college has always provided me with opportunities to pursue my career goals successfully, and I firmly believe that every student at UHCOP can share that success. However, as chair of the Pharmacy Council, I intend to continue to advocate for the well-being of my colleagues by sharing my passion for our school and giving you the tools to shape your path through pharmacy school.

Although it may be difficult to adjust to such a new experience, I can assure you that success will come soon if you keep an open mind and embrace with all your heart what UHCOP has to offer. Our school has over 20 active student organizations where you can find opportunities for leadership development, research, mentoring and more. As you begin to establish yourself in the school community, I challenge you to fully explore these opportunities to do the best you can as you advance in your pharmacy education.

Fall 2022 Application Faq’s

Well, I wish you the best of luck as you begin this exciting, new chapter of your life! The University of Hawaii 10 campus program proposes to suspend undergraduate education for the two academic years (AY) 2023–24 and AY. The year 2024–25 was followed by a 2% increase in tuition at three UH universities in 2025–26 and a 2% increase in 2026–27. Non-resident undergraduate tuition fees will increase by an equal dollar amount for each of the two academic years. Proposed Community College and four-year tuition fees EXCEPT for the UH Mānoa William S. Richardson School of Law (WSRSL), which will increase by 2% every three years beginning in AY 2024-25. to make money to support the law school.

Five public meetings are scheduled beginning Nov. 15 to explain the proposal and give students, parents, faculty, staff and the public an opportunity to provide feedback through oral and written testimony. Feedback will be shared with the Board of Trustees before they act on the proposal next year by approving, revoking or amending the submission.

The Board of Trustees’ last action on education was in 2016 when resident graduation rates increased from 1% to 2% in 2018-19 and 2019-20. This expansion is fully aimed at the renovation, development and modernization of UH facilities. Meanwhile, some tuition fees are reduced and tuition fees are frozen from 2020.

University Laboratory School

Undergraduate tuition is currently $5,652 per semester at UH Mānoa, $3,836 per semester at UH Hilo and UH West Oʻahu, and $1,572 per semester at UH community colleges ($131 per credit and 12 credits are considered full-time) ).
