Prosper Isd Calendar 2023 24 – Welcome to 2023! Many exciting events are already planned for this year. As Prosper grew, so did the calendar. While more events will certainly be planned, this is a tentative list of upcoming events by month.
January includes children returning to school on January 4th. Additionally, the district will induct members into the Athletic Hall of Fame this month.
Prosper Isd Calendar 2023 24
In February the town of Prosper will host the annual fishing derby on February 18th. Despite the inclement weather, Prosper ISD students are out of school from February 17-20.
Thrive / Campo Verde High College & Career Events Calendar
March includes spring break for students between March 6-10. The town’s Discover Downtown series kicks off March 31 with a Moonlight movie.
April kicks off with the Spring New Resident Mixer on April 6th. The mayor will host coffee with the residents on April 12. Citizens Academy starts on April 20th. On the Prosper ISD calendar, students have a day off on April 7 and a day off on April 10 due to inclement weather.
The Discover Downtown series continues May 6 for Tunes on Broadway. May 24th is the last day of school for Prosper ISD students. Graduation at Rock Hill High School is scheduled for May 24. Prosper High School’s graduation is scheduled for May 25.
Denison Independent School District
Prosper will host the second annual P-Town Throwdown on June 3rd. This is the city’s annual pickleball tournament.
Pride in the Sky, an Independence Day celebration and fireworks display, takes place at Frontier Park on July 1. The library also hosts a patriotic parade around City Hall around Independence Day.
Prosper ISD opens four schools in August 2023. The district typically hosts ribbon-cutting ceremonies at school openings, allowing students and parents to view the schools as well as an opportunity for the district to honor the person for whom the school is named. The district begins school on August 9.
Allen Scores Another State Wrestling Sweep; Creekview, Plano Isd, Prosper Isd Impress
September 9 is the scheduled date for Paws on Broadway. This event is for dogs and their families and is located in the central area.
In October, conferences and professional learning are held in the district on the 5th and 6th, and a student vacation on October 9. A new fall resident mixer with the city is scheduled for Oct. 5. To celebrate Prosper, the annual barbecue and festival is planned for Oct. 7 at Frontier Park. The mayor will hold a lunch for active adults on October 18.
In November, the city will welcome spectators and community members to participate in the Harbor Day celebration on November 4th. The second annual Veterans Day 5 will be held on November 11th. Thanksgiving break for Prosper ISD is from November 20th. 24.

Finally, the town’s Christmas and parade is on December 2nd, and Light the Night winners will be announced on December 13th. The district has a winter break from December 18 to January 3, 2024.
