The season kicks off on September 17th with The Gatlin Brothers, followed by Jessica Vosk on September 30th. Wicked’s powerful voice, also known as Broadway’s green-skinned witch Elphaba, is sure to shine when paired with the theater’s impressive acoustics. Jay Leno, the man who needs no introduction, will be doing his body-splitting stand-up on Friday the 7th. October.
Mississippi State Fall 2023 Calendar
Blurring the lines between funk, soul, R&B and psychedelic rock, New Orleans music legend Trombone Shorty and his Orleans Avenue Band take the stage on November 19th. Released this spring, Lifted is his first new album in five years. After much anticipation, the album is a great indicator of what’s to come on the scene.

Beloved folk singer-songwriter Emmylou Harris and her band will fill the Grand Opera House at MSU’s Riley Center on Friday, May 9 with the wit and eloquence that only she can deliver. December. Closing out the season on January 21st, Temptations and Four Tops are sure to fill the house with Motown mania.
The MSU Riley Center’s announcement this season follows impressive sold-out concerts in the spring, including Bob Dylan and a July 23 addition by Boz Skaggs.
“We’re selling more tickets each season than ever before, which is much higher than pre-pandemic levels,” said Dr. Terry Dale Cruz, assistant vice president and head of campus at Mississippi State University. “Even though we’ve been putting on regular shows for over 15 years, it’s obvious that the energy and interest in the arts and culture downtown and our community has been rekindled. My advice to anyone coming to a show or downtown for a weekend, don’t hesitate. .”
Museums & Exhibits In Starkville, Oktibbeha County, & Mississippi State University
Since the MSU Riley Center opened in 2006, the center has received significant investment, particularly in the arts and culture sector. The Mississippi Arts Arts + Entertainment Experience and the addition of the new Mississippi Children’s Museum provide unique enrichment opportunities for adults and children, complementing the MSU Riley Center Performing Arts Series and annual School Show. Opening in early 2022, the Threefoot Hotel will become an arts and culture destination for the state and region.
Season tickets for the 2022-2023 MSU Riley Center Fall-Winter Game Series are on sale now and start at $210 and go up to $540 per person. Special mini-packages are also available, where patrons can purchase a set of three pre-determined shows and claim a much-coveted seat in front of ticket buyers. Mini packages ranging from $95 to $340 per person will be available starting August 1. Ticket prices for individual performances range from $20 to $150 per ticket, depending on performance and seating options. Following a one-day pre-sale for Ladies of Friends members on Monday, August 8, individual tickets go on sale on Tuesday, August 9. For tickets and more information, visit FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Arkansas has signed an amendment to its contract with the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism to bring two Razorback football games to Central Arkansas next season and extend the overall agreement through the 2025 season.
The next seasons will be at War Memorial Stadium at UAPB in 2021 (Oct. 23, 2021) and 2024 (Aug. 31, 2024) and at Arkansas State in 2025 (Sept. 6, 2025). Arkansas will also play Western Carolina (Sept. 2, 2023) at Warn Memorial Stadium during the 2023 season. As part of the change, previously scheduled games against Missouri will be moved to Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on the campus of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
“We are grateful to the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism and War Memorial Stadium for partnering with us to host a historic state game at War Memorial Stadium and for allowing us to host a Southeastern Conference game on our campus. . . ,” said Arkansas vice chancellor and director of athletics Hunter Yuracek. “The Razorback program spans our entire state, and as we’ve shown in many sports, it’s important that we continue to be involved in Central Arkansas.
