George Mason University Calendar 2023 – Preamble takes place each fall before classes begin for all freshmen and transfer students. Due to the staggered schedule for this year’s move, many of the signature preamble events will take place throughout the day from Friday to Saturday. For early arriving students, we have planned a variety of fun and informational events throughout the Preamble designed to familiarize you with the campus and the Fairfax area.
