Duke Of Love Reigns Supreme In Prince Of Wales Stakes
Scheier, 35, a former Duke player and assistant coach, took over as head coach after Mike Krzyzewski retired last April.
The Blue Devils wrap up the regular season in North Carolina on March 4. Greensboro will host the ACC Championship game next week.
The NCAA Tournament is also returning to Greensboro Coliseum in March, which means if the Blue Devils have a regular season, they’ll be seeded high enough to play first and second rounds close to Greensboro’s home turf. Contest.

The Blue Devils play Fayetteville State in an exhibition game at 7 p.m. November 2 at the Cameron Indoor Stadium. They kick off the regular season on November 7 at 7 p.m. The game against Jacksonville will be televised on the ACC network.
As tempting as a nonconference matchup with Kansas might be, Scheier is coaching rival UNC for the first time, and it’s a win.
Famously, last March 5, the Tar Hills closed out the regular season with a 94-81 win over Duke, leaving Krzyzewski in the final home game. A month later, UNC defeated Duke 81-77 in the Final Four in New Orleans, ending the Hall of Fame coach’s career.

Always one of the toughest tickets in the sport and one that draws the best regular-season crowd in all of college basketball, UNC at Duke on Feb. 4 will be one of the seasons to remember.
Despite Wake Forest’s solid 25-10 record last season, the Blue Devils swept the Demon Deacons in two games. The two teams will meet for the first time this season, and Wake students will be off campus between semesters. This may dampen the enthusiasm of the crowd.
Krzyzewski often talks about battling humanity and how players find a way to play well at the end of the “energy cycle.” The final game before halftime, in a building that may not have a student section, will test the Blue Devils that way.
Kansas Football Moves To 4 0 For The First Time Since 2009
In mid-February, when the team competes for the NCAA Tournament and the league’s regular-season title, Duke faces a tough task.
The Tar Heels are coming to Cameron Indoor on February 4th for this brawl match. The next day, Duke will board a plane to Miami, where the Blue Devils and Hurricanes will meet on Feb. 6.
Playing away in the second half of two games in three days is always difficult. Doing this after playing against tough opponents only adds to it. A year ago, Miami was in the Elite Eight.

Duke plays Boston College, Pittsburgh and Clemson over eight days in early January. Those will be the three teams in the bottom half of the league this season.
A trip to Boston College on Jan. 7, followed by a home game against Pitt on Jan. 11 and a game at Clemson on Jan. 14.
It’s tempting to add to that by including a Jan. 4 game in North Carolina. State, before heading to Boston College. But Duke’s difficulty beating the Wolfpack in Raleigh made it a no-brainer, even if NC State isn’t expected to be an NCAA tournament team this season.
