Cu Boulder Calendar Fall 2023 – A new series of events on ART, ACTIVISM, and ENGAGED HUMANITIES is currently being planned for FALL 2022 and SPRING 2023 at CU Boulder. This series of events is being designed and co-sponsored by several institutions at CU Boulder, including WriteLab/Program for Writing and Rhetoric, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the A&S Office of Equity, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. to participation; English department; Student Affairs Division; American Music Research Center; CU Museum of Art; Department of Ethnic Studies; Center for Humanities and Arts; and the Center for African and African American Studies. Through a series of presentations, talks, workshops, and community collaborations, this series of events aims to promote study and participation in the engaged humanities at CU Boulder and the community at large. The Engaged Humanities is an interdisciplinary effort to foster more inclusive, integrated, and just communities and institutions through publicly engaged research, teaching, and creative projects. This series of events connects students, staff, faculty, and local community members by discussing and showcasing research in the humanities, art (digital storytelling, speech, music, poetry, dance, printmaking), and activism. . He hopes to spark interest in busy humanity. they can come together to create powerful collective action towards a more just future.
